Castle Lodge Ludlow

Castle Lodge Ludlow, an iconic Tudor-era treasure at the heart of Ludlow’s Castle Square, is poised to welcome guests.

Following a meticulous six-year, multi-million pound restoration, this Grade II* listed building—renowned as a former residence of Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII—enters a new chapter as a boutique hotel, restaurant, and bar.

Castle Lodge features seven spacious, individually designed suites - each with separate sleeping, sitting, and kitchen areas - providing sumptuous accommodation for travellers from near and far.

Every suite is named after a notable former resident, including Catherine of Aragon, an ancient cordwainer, and various distinguished Victorians. On the ground floor, guests and locals alike can enjoy the exquisite bar, restaurant, and snug.
