Castle Lodge, Ludlow

There is no comparison, Castle Lodge Ludlow, an iconic Tudor treasure set in the heart of Ludlow’s Castle Square is now welcoming its first guests.  

Following a meticulous multi-million pound restoration – stretching across 2,782 days! – this grade II * listed building – known as the former home of Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII – enters a new chapter as a luxury boutique hotel, restaurant and bar.  

It's a very special place for very special occasions – and you're invited. Welcome.

As part of our launch plans, current opening hours are:

Wednesday & Thursday: Bar 4pm - 10pm

Friday & Saturday: Bar 12pm - 10pm

We are currently serving food Wednesday - Saturday:

Aperitivo in the bar and snug 5pm - 6.30pm (walk ins only)

Dinner in the restaurant from 7pm (booking recommended)

Discover seven self-contained suites, all unique, ornate and full of intriguing surprises. Each apartment is a tapestry of period details and luxurious modern design, woven together with the tales of those who walked these floors in centuries past. All have distinct living spaces, too, including a lounge and kitchen. These are not hotel rooms. They're the ultimate havens for a heavenly get-away, just waiting for memories to be made.
