A Ludlow culinary legend...

Meet head chef Harry Bullock

To Ludlow locals, Harry Bullock needs no introduction. His cooking is the stuff of legend around here – and his talks and demonstrations are fixtures at the town's renowned annual food festival.

Now, with Harry heading up the culinary team at Castle Lodge, we hope that many more will discover his talents.

And what talents they are. Passionate about good, local produce and gifted with a rare creative flair, Harry crafts dishes that surprise, delight and captivate with every bite. One look and you'll be in love. One taste, and you might want to start writing poetry.

When he's not cooking, Harry makes the most of Shropshire's abundant countryside. His hobbies include fishing, game shooting and gardening, as well as a spot of photography. He's also passionate about sustainability, aiming to work with local, responsible producers wherever possible.
