Private dining in Ludlow

Unforgettable evenings start here

'Private dining in Ludlow'. It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? An exclusive culinary experience in a town famed for its food – the town John Betjeman once dubbed 'the loveliest' in all of England.

It's the stuff lifelong memories are made of – and you're invited to live it at Castle Lodge. Perched on Ludlow's market square, our Grade II* Tudor hotel puts you and your guests in the heart of Shropshire's culinary capital. For one unforgettable evening, you'll enjoy the undivided attention of our staff, free rein of our menus and a private room worthy of its own celebration.

Whether you're toasting a milestone or schmoozing a client, special moments don't get much better than this.

Your private dining room

We'll let you in on a little secret. There's a hidden room at Castle Lodge – and it's one of the most spectacular rooms of all.

This is the Private Dining Room. Inside, it's a trove of antique treasures, including hand-carved oak panels and an ornate feature fireplace (roaring, on request). And just down the hall, within easy serving distance, is our kitchen, where our head chef works their magic with the finest locally sourced ingredients.

Equally suited for small, informal gatherings and larger luncheons, our private dining room comfortably seats up to 18 people.
